P1070342.JPGI paid a visit to the Sherigu Community library in Ghana on July 4, 2017. When I arrived to the library around 8:30pm (the library was recently hooked up to the electric grid) there were a handful of young adults with the librarian. Some children were reading a story book titled My Grandfather is a Magician, some did a reading comprehension workbook, while others worked on Mathematics. The overall atmosphere made the library and excellent place for children to relax and get some work done. Before heading out I encouraged the children to keep visiting the library and to invite their friends who had not yet visited the library.
