Erica Ernst, who participated in the 2009 RWA program, was in Burkina doing research for her Master's Degree. She spent time at the 7 villages in the Tuy province, collecting data and statistics to write her thesis paper. She fondly remembered the time she spent at the libraries during the study abroad program, and she was pleasantly surprised that everyone on the FAVL team (coordinators and librarians alike) remembered her too. To thank the librarians for their help with the research before returning to America, she wanted to give each of them a present for the libraries. So yesterday, she presented Donkoui with 7 Africa wooden Africa puzzles that she found at the Artisan Village her in Ouaga, something that the library patrons will greatly appreciate. A big thank you to Erica for her generous donation!
